About Us

Maxie is a 9-year-old Australian Shepherd mix and is my first fur baby. She was approximately 9 months old when I adopted her from the OKC Humane Society. Maxie has come a long way from the behaviors she had when we originally met. Sometimes, she needs a couple minutes to warm up to a new dog. Maxie loves to lay outside and watch for squirrels. She is quick to fall onto her back for belly rubs.

Dax is a 5-year-old German Shepherd mix and has a very affable, goofy, and playful personality. I have had Dax since he was approximately 12 weeks old. He loves to play frisbee, and he can often be found carrying a frisbee in his mouth wherever he goes. He is very active and plays well with others, including sharing toys.

Sammy is expected to be 10+ years old. He was originally the barn cat at my first house in Blanchard, OK. When I moved back to Lawton 4 1/2 years later, I brought Sammy with us. He typically likes to be left alone from other animals, but he is a glutton for some human affection.
